San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Ordinance Effective February 5, 2007
San Francisco is the first city in the country to implement a required paid sick leave policy for all employers. Effective February 5, 2007, San Francisco employers must provide one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked for all employees, including temporary and part-time employees.
