Plaintiff Fails to Prove He Was Terminated Because He Was HIV-Positive
An employee who claimed that he was terminated due to his HIV status was unsuccessful because he offered no evidence that his employer knew about his medical condition.  Although the decision is unpublished, the Court of Appeal affirmed summary judgment for the employer on the claims that the plaintiff had been terminated due to his alleged disability and perceived sexual orientation.  Cassell v. Walters & Wolf Glass Co. 2007 WL 2122643
