| Medical Leave Does Not Protect an Employee who Violates Company Policy |

An employer can terminate an employee for violating company policy, even if the employee has only recently returned from medical leave, provided the company has a good-faith belief that a violation has occurred and the termination is in no way related to the employee’s medical leave.
