| Federal Minimum Wage Increase Effective July 24, 2007 |

Effective July 24, 2007, the federal minimum wage increased from $5.15/hour to $5.85/hour. The federal minimum wage is scheduled for two additional increases over the next two years. Because California employers are required to post the federal minimum wage rate, employers should obtain an updated posting. Postings can be obtained on line at www.dol.gov/esa/regs/compliance/posters/flsa.htm
