“Paramour Preference” Claim Rejected
An office manager’s claim that she was discriminated against and subjected to a hostile work environment because of her boss’s romantic relationship with another employee was dismissed since she failed to demonstrate that she suffered the loss of any employment benefit due to the boss’s relationship.  See Alaniz v. Peppercorn 2007 WL 1299804 (E.D. Cal. 2007)
