When times get tough, training budgets usually get slashed. Good news! The state of California has money available to off-set the costs of job skills training necessary to maintain high-performance workplaces.
Train your frontline workers on Communication, Conflict Resolution, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Stepping Up to Leadership, and Working as a Team.
Train your supervisors on Communication Skills for Supervisors, Conducting Interviews, Effective Meetings, Effective Presentations, Empowering and Delegating, Handling Performance Issues, Leading Change, Mediating Conflicts, Motivating Others, Performance Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Process Improvement, and Teambuilding.
You are eligible to receive funding if:
-
You are mandatorily subject to the California State Unemployment Insurance Tax and the Employment Training Tax; or
-
You are a public entity or non-profit organization electing to participate in the California State Unemployment Insurance Tax system under the Tax Rate method and are, therefore, subject to the Employment Training Tax.
Check your EDD California Employer Account Number. If the first three digits are 699 or lower, you probably qualify.
There is an application and administrative process, which we can handle for you at no cost.
So, if you want to provide your employees with high quality training at no cost, all you have to do is contact Robin Paggi at rpaggi@kleinlaw.com or (661) 328-5267 and tell her you want to get started.
