AB243: Farm Labor Contractor Itemized Wage Statements

| Existing law, under Labor Code section 226, requires all employers to provide employees (semimonthly or at the time of each payment of wages) with an itemized written statement that shows specified data including, but not limited to: gross wages, total hours worked, and the name and address of the legal entity that is the employer. A recent amendment to section 226 will require farm labor contractors to also include the name and address of the legal entity that secured the employer’s services. |
