After more than 60 years of research and development, the Myers-Briggs personality assessment is the most widely used instrument for understanding normal personality differences. Because it explains basic patterns in human functioning, the assessment is used for a wide variety of purposes including the following: ● Self-understanding and development ● Organization development ● Team building ● Management and leadership training ● Problem solving ● Conflict resolution
More than two million Myers-Briggs assessments are administered annually in the United States. The assessment is also used internationally and has been translated into more than 30 languages.
KDG Human Resource Solutions is offering a series of workshops utilizing the Myers-Briggs assessment which includes the following:
February 2, 2012 Introduction to Type – Part 1
After completing the Myers-Briggs assessment on-line, participants will learn about the ways people prefer to do things: • where they prefer to focus their attention and get their energy (Extraversion or Introversion) • the way they prefer to take in information (Sensing or Intuition) • the way they prefer to make decisions (Thinking or Feeling) • how they orient themselves to the external world (Judging or Perceiving)
Participants will be given their Myers-Briggs assessment results at the end of the workshop, which will reveal their four letter personality type.

The objective of this workshop is for participants to identify each of their functions and the impact they have on their personality style.

We all have elements of each personality type; however, if you identify yourself as an extravert, then your introverted side probably needs to be developed in order to achieve balance and become more effective. In this workshop, participants will identify areas of their personalities needing development and create strategies to become more effective.
