Fresno Lunch & Learn Topic:
Interviewing: Hiring the Best and Weeding Out The Rest
It has been estimated that hiring the wrong candidate can cost up to three times the employee's salary. There are obvious costs like recruitment agency fees, time spent recruiting, advertising, salary, training, etc. There are also hidden costs such as lost sales, lost customers, managing poor performance, and the impact on the team and morale. So the "hire them and get rid of them if they don't work strategy" is expensive. Join us for our Lunch and Learn Wednesday, February 17th, "Interviewing: Hiring the Best and Weeding Out the Rest," where we will provide you with simple, yet effective ways to immediately improve your interviewing and staff selection process
Date: March 29, 2010 Time: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Location: The Downtown Club, 2120 Kern St. Fresno Registration: Pre-registration is required. Call Shawna Smith at 800-221-8536 or e-mail ssmith@kleinlaw.com Facilitators: Robin Paggi, SPHR-CA & Jay Rosenlieb, Esq.

State law requires all employers of 50 or more employees to provide all supervisors with two hours of interactive training on the causes and prevention of sexual harassment. This includes temporary workers and independent contractors working on your company's premises. And new supervisors must be trained within 6 months of hire.
As a leader in labor and employment law, KDG HR Solutions is offering training to meet the requirements of AB1825. Our training is filled with examples, role playing and practical tips so that the employer can be in the bestposition ot make sure harassment does not occur in the workplace, and to respond appropriately if it does occur
